Accessibility

We want every parent, grandparent, and educator to be able to browse and shop at MirthWell comfortably — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our benchmark for mirthwell.com. Accessibility is part of how we build and review the store, not a one-time checkbox.

What we do

• Descriptive alternative text on product and content images
• Color contrast checked against WCAG AA in our design reviews
• Full keyboard navigability of menus, forms, and checkout
• Clear heading structure and descriptive link text on every page
• Accessibility checks included in our quality gate before changes go live

Known limitations

Some content comes from third-party tools and apps (for example, embedded forms or review widgets) that we don't fully control. Where we find an accessibility problem in a third-party component, we raise it with the provider or look for an alternative.
