The first "I did that"

One small hand reaches in, pinches, and pulls - and a scarf appears out of nowhere. Then another. Their whole face lights up. That dawning look of "my hand made that happen" is the very first spark of cause and effect, the root of every problem they'll ever solve. You're right there on the rug to see it.

Pulling tissues is serious work

It looks like one simple game, but a lot is happening in those small hands:

✨ Pulls scarves out one by one

🔎 Explores different textures

⭐ Discovers pull-and-appear cause and effect

💡 Reaches and grasps dangling pieces

The material is super soft and everything is well-made. I highly recommend it.

Montessori Magic Tissue Box Sensory Cube - howto

How to play

  1. Tuck the scarves and printed cloths inside so one corner peeks out of the top opening.
  2. Set it in front of your baby during tummy time or sitting, and let them grab the first piece.
  3. Name what comes out and turn the cube as you go - "a pink scarf," "that's you in the bear's mirror," "a little lion."

The crinkle they make themselves

The baby-shower present that actually gets used, not stored. It drops into a diaper bag for the car or a restaurant, and it washes clean when (not if) it ends up in a mouth. Soft, non-toxic, no batteries - just the crinkle your baby makes themselves.

The shipping took some time but arrived on schedule. The cube is made of fabric but is thick, and some parts have a different texture. The colored fabric napkins are thin and soft to the touch, and there are a few napkins without patterns that have a different texture, which is interesting.

A fantastic product, the child loved it very much and it keeps him busy because it's full of fabrics and the three squeaky sounds like bags make him fly around on it.

Questions, answered

It's a soft fabric cube filled with sheer crinkle scarves and printed cloths that a baby pulls out one at a time, just like the real tissue box they love to empty. Each side is different - a bear face with a baby-safe mirror, a goose with dangling feet, a cow, a lion, and a dotted top with the pull-out opening. It's Montessori-aligned because the child controls and repeats the play on their own.

A soft fabric cube plus a set of pull-out pieces: a rainbow of sheer crinkle scarves and a set of printed cloth squares, including a numbers 1-9 grid, jungle animals, a giraffe, an elephant and a bear. Everything stores neatly back inside the cube when playtime is over.

It's made for babies and young toddlers in the sitting-up and pulling stage - best from around 6 months, with adult supervision. The mirror and crinkle scarves draw even younger babies' eyes and ears during supervised tummy time. Because the scarves and cloths are small pull-out pieces, it carries the small-parts choking warning - keep an adult close during play.

It's soft, washable cotton fabric finished with water-based, non-toxic, BPA-free dyes, and it's safety-tested (test reports on file). The mirror is a baby-safe reflective panel, not glass. As with any toy that has small fabric pieces, it's meant for supervised play - see the choking warning below.

Yes - the fabric is washable, so it cleans up after the floor and the inevitable taste-test. Spot-clean or gently hand-wash with mild soap and air-dry to keep the colours and crinkle fillings in good shape.

Fine-motor pincer grip through pinching and pulling, cause-and-effect understanding ("I pull, the scarf appears"), sensory development through crinkle sounds and varied textures, early object permanence as pieces vanish and reappear, and first self-recognition in the bear-face mirror.

No. There are no batteries and no electronics. The only sound is the crinkle the baby makes by pulling and squeezing the fabric.

Yes. It's lightweight soft fabric, so it packs into a diaper bag and keeps little hands busy at restaurants, on flights and in the car - no screens needed.
